Haven't been to Walt Disney World since June of 2009, have stayed onsite at the caribbean beach resort twice, have found out that there are no microwaves and refridgerator in any rooms, would have to use the one in the foodcourt. Does the Downtown Disney resort hotels have any in their rooms even though they are not onsite and I would have to take their shuttle which runs every hour on different routes and would have to use Mears transportation for the airport. Does any of the good neighbor hotels at Disneyland still have microwaves and refridgerators in the rooms? I have not been to Disneyland in California since April of 2010

Caribbean Beach has a fridge in every room.

For microwaves on site you have to be in a suite or a studio. Art of Animation family suites have microwaves (not the standard rooms). Also deluxe villas/studios (DVC) will.

Not sure about every Disney Springs hotel but Doubletree Suites should have a microwave.

All of the resort rooms have refrigerators, although no freezer compartments except in the villas.
Family suites and DVC will also have the microwave. FW cabins and DVC villas will have a full kitchen including refrigerator with a freezer compartment, microwave, toaster and stove.

They are all different companies but usually they all have fridges and microwaves - at least the 4 on S Harbor I've stayed at have them.

As mentioned above, all Disney-owned resorts at WDW have refrigerators in the rooms.

All resorts in the Deluxe Villa category (Disney Vacation Club resorts) on the disneyworld.com site have refrigerators and microwaves in every room. All 1, 2 and 3 bedroom villas at resorts in this category have full kitchens, with stove, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator and microwave.

Also, the family suites at Art of Animation and All Star Music have fridges and microwaves, and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness also do.

I'm not sure which, if any, rooms at the Disney Springs hotels have fridges; they're discussed on our Orlando Hotels and Attractions board.

For questions on the hotels around Disneyland, ask on our Disneyland board.

I know when we stayed at the Poly, we were able to request a microwave from the front desk and they brought one up. As previously stated, all rooms have fridges now, so that was not a problem.

I don't want to end up walking all the way between the food court and my hotel room wven though I would have to walk a distance or take a surrey bike or shuttle bike back and forth

Usually you just take what you want microwave (or put in a toaster) to the food court, then sit & eat it there, then head out. I guess if you're just coming back to the hotel & want to heat something, then go back to room then back to food court. In that case you'll want to book a preferred room near the food court.

We have had very good luck requesting a microwave at several moderate and deluxe resorts. You just call Mousekeeping and they will deliver one (first come, first serve).
