Onsite hotel perks

Aside from the FOTL access, do those staying at a Universal hotel receive any other discounts or coupons? I'm trying to see if it would make more sense for us to stay at our Disney hotel, take a taxi and pay for the FOTL passes for 2 days or stay at a Universal hotel for one night to get the free FOTL passes.

The prices you pay for 2 days FOTL passes, which only entitle you to one FOTL on each ride, would work out prob as cheap for 1 night stay, and Unlimited FOTL for 2 days, without any other perks.

We are DVC owners, stay at WDW several times a year. IMHO for the same reason we stay on property at WDW, we stay on property at Universal. FOTL passes, as mentioned are unlimited for hotel guests, and expensive (if available) for just 1 per ride. Also, there is nothing worse than having to travel after a long day at the parks.

Also, there is the youfirst program. If you stay enough times each year, you get those benefits as well which include upgrades, late checkout, free internet, gym use, welcome gift and food/beverage credits.

week days or weekends for UO?


if you go in low season, rooms can be had at around $130 onsite.
