We are traveling down to Florida for Spring Break and have Friday as a spare stopover day for Orlando we will arrive Thursday night. The kids (9 and 5) have never down Universal or IOA so we thought we would take them for the day......the question is which park would be best as we only have the one day and is spring break.

I haven't been back since 1997

TIA

Well, a LOT has happened since 1997! :surfweb:

It depends on the kids, their heights, and what type of rides they like.

Universal is honestly a mix of shows and rides. Mummy and Rip Ride Rockit are the two thrill rides, while the others are fairly tame.

IOA has mostly thrill rides, so kids that love thrill rides will LOVE it. With the rides being mostly those type, kids that are small or intimidated easily by rides, may have a bad time.
At IOA there are tons of fun characters, and the lands are themed well. If either of them like Harry Potter, be sure to get there FIRST thing in the morning. With it being Spring Break AND a Friday, it will be a mad house.

IOA can fill a day while Universal will take up 2/3's of a day.
