Only going to WS at EP - better to use back entrance?

We are going to EP, only for the WS. It will be in August, so HOT. And I'm thinking about that looooooonnnng walk from the buses to the main entrance.....

We've always driven and found the entrance very close and easy from the parking lot. This trip we are using bus transportation. It sounds like they don't drop off very close. Can you explain where the buses drop off? Very different from where people enter if they drive? Thanks.

i've never driven so I don't know....i'm sure there's a map out there somewhere that shows where the different drop offs/lots are

I've been on those boats more times than I know, and I can't recall ever getting overheated. Weird.

Definitely agree that an Uber/Lyft to BC is your best option to save walking.
