I am a former CM and have not been back to the most magical place in the world since 2009. So my husband and I are going on vaca in Feb. and going to WDW for two days. He has also never been to Disney so I am super excited for him to see everything but sadly our days are limited! But I want to have the best experience and show him everything that I can. What would you suggest for us to do and see as well as what parks to visit! Thanks!

BTW....I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE EXCITED IN MY LIFE TO GO BACK TO DISNEY WORLD! WHOOO! :hyper::woohoo::love::bitelip:

Well, Magic Kingdom I think is a given, right? For a second park, that's a much tougher call. I'd probably go with Epcot. It has that "impressive" factor with Spaceship Earth, and I think still has more rides than DHS or AK. Soarin' & Test Track are must-do attractions, plus you have the World Showcase. Illuminations is a great capper to the day too.

I'd probably rate AK next, though it is currently construction central. DHS though has a lot of stuff closed as well, though they weren't that important, it still feels like the park is not up to par, though RnRC, ToT and Fantasmic! are big draws. I give AK the edge because of Everest, Festival of the Lion King, and the animals (and Tusker House if you're so inclined).

2 days and with a first timer I would have to say MK and Epcot. Hate to leave out AK but it could wait until another visit :thumbsup2

Thank you! I am very torn between Epcot and HWS.:confused3 But I LOVE AK! And yes Magic Kingdom is a must so that will be our first day for sure. We also considered doing park hoppers and doing two parks one day and then one on the other day. But I have never used the park hopper and I imagine it is difficult trying to see two parks in one day. Any thoughts on that?

Only two days and has never been to Disney before? I would do 1.5 MK days and .5 day at Epcot to see World Showcase and Illuminations.

Maybe try MK one day, then AK the other day until late afternoon, then switch to Epcot? You probably won't get everything in, but I think that could work out, especially if it's not super crowded when you go.

But I think it also depends if he'll be up for being on the move all day. If you want a slower pace to take things in, you might want to stick with just 2 parks. I do think I'd pick Epcot for the second. But if he's more into rides, I'd go with HS. We liked the rides there better.

The important thing, I think, is not to worry about seeing everything, and enjoy the two days you have (then start thinking about when you can come back for the rest, haha).

We've always gone down with hoppers and, if making smart decisions, split HS (or AK) and Epcot over a single day. You just need to figure out your priorities. Does DH like world culture or thrill rides more? Would you rather show him Fantasmic or Illuminations at night, not to mention are you full-day or 'we-need-a-break' types? Can you utilize EMH and are they even offered those days?

Going off my own preferences for an example, I'd start the day at Epcot for Test Track, Soarin', Spaceship Earth and the Living Seas, have lunch and the afternoon at countries which interest us in the World Showcase, then head to Hollywood Studios with FP+ tickets for Star Tours, ToT and either TSMM or RRC then catch Fantasmic if it was our fancy. Full day? Certainly! But worth it. However you decide to tour, I hope you and DH have a great vacation!
