I called USF about the ticket offer through the Annual Passholder Appreciation Days promotion. Dealing with them in person is different than the website, they don't mention some important differences that can benefit you.
First off, if you read the fine print on the website it says that the half-price tickets are only good for walkup purchases at the USF or IOA ticket window. In reality you can order them by phone BUT they will not mail them like they do for most tickets, they have to be picked up in person. I think that is to keep people from ordering a bunch of tickets then selling them on Ebay.
Second, the website gives the impression that you have to use them by June 27th. You have to buy them by the 27th but you can pick them up at a later date, in my case it will be in July and they won't actually be used until about a week later. There is a slight possibility I could be wrong on that and they have to be used the day they are picked up. I covered that possibility by adding the name of the person who would actually be using the tickets to my order so if I can't pick them up and bring them back to them he can pick them up himself on the day they arrive. You need your order number and positive ID when you pick them up.
Finally, the website says maximum of 6 adult tickets. They will sell you more. I bought more than 6 and I had the impression I could have bought as many as I wanted. The people I bought them for are all going on the same day, I don't know if you could stagger the days or not but you could ask the CSR if that's possible.
All this ends June 27th. If you are thinking of getting tickets for friends or relatives don't procrastinate much longer.
