We only have two days left until we can book our Southwest flights for September. On March 23rd, they are opening there flight schedule up I believe for both September and October. We have an $86 credit with them that has to be used by October 5th.

I have been anxiously awaiting too!!! I even took off from work so I can buy them as soon as they are available!

Enjoy your trip!!

I figured I would stay up til midnight to see if they are available and if not check at 6 am before I leave for work. Were hoping that they do the $79 or $82 each way deal that we got for our Tampa flights, because we would then beable to get our tickets for $155 pp round trip with our credit. We could always go through airtrans and book for $183 pp if southwest doesn't work out.

Three days ago we were able ot book our ADR's for our September trip, and in two days we will be booking our SWA flights for the trip and hopefully in a week or two we'll be able to add on Free Dining.:goodvibes

It's really starting to feel like this trip is real.

I seem to remember reading that the new schedule won't be released until 10am EST...

We've got a big credit to use so we have to fly Southwest this time. I'm hoping the end of August rates are better than what is posted for the beginning of August.

I heard they are not released until sometime that morning, maybe 9ish. I am not sure, I am just going to keep checking.

We have an $86 credit with them as well and are hoping for $79-$99each way rates. As long as the total is $200 pp round trip or less I will be happy.

I got impatient and booked JB for our October trip. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to torture myself by checking the SWA rates tomorrow to see if I could've done better!!!:rotfl:

It looks like I will now be off on Tuesday, so I will beable to book whenever they open.

Oh dear!!! I'll be at work at that point and not able to be near a computer. :confused3 Looks like DBF will have a little "Honey Do" project while he's at work tomorrow morning.

I wish they gave an exact time... I am not sure if I need to get up earlier or not.

They start at 9am Dallas time. Give them within the 1/2 hr to get the new schedule up.

I usually wait and they become available between 10-10:30am EST.

Are the new prices really cheaper when they first come up? Will it be the same to book it anytime tomorrow?

in my experience, the release rate lasts all day. Of course, that is apt to change at ANY time...so, don't go my lil ole me.

That's just been MY experiences.

It really depends on the airport and time of year. Last year when I was booking my December flight on release day, the rate for the time/date I wanted out of MHT went up over $50/pp/ow within the first hour. If you're looking at a vacation week during school then things will go up VERY quickly.

When i booked last year for christmas I scored 49 or 59 each way (old age, can't remember which lol ) but i do remember that afternoon i checked rates again and they were up $100 each way!!!! So book as early as you can.

Ours goes up pretty quick too..but not that quik!

We normally fly within a few days before July 4th (or end of June) and fly home mid July. So, it's summer and school is out, but the release rates usually hold till sometime later in the week (I still book right away tho because PHL to MCO is VERY popular!)

This October, we are flying out of PHL to MCO on Friday before Columbus Day and flying home Monday Columbus Day. THAT is a holiday weekend and one reason I am NOT holding my breath for good rates. Besides, that weekend has been "in the works" since July '09....been saving since

I know what you mean. We are going Labor Day weekend Sept 4-11 but added two days of vacation time to the beginning of the trip so we have a little room to work with.
