Online & twighlight check in??

Do you do one or the other or can you do both????
If you do online, when & where do you check your baggage in?
Need to get organised now just started packing

Hi Tracey! I think it's fine to do both - you just take your bags to the twilight check in desk to save you time the next day, but you will have already confirmed your seats with the online check-in.

Are you having to pack your dress now? I am kind of resigned to having to do that, although I'm going to spend 9 hours panicking that it's made the same plane!

We did both last December - I did the online checkin before we left home the day before our flight and then dumped our bags at Twilight checking. We stayed the night in the Gatwick Hilton

Just line up as usual for the twilight checkin and tell the check in person that you have already checked in online and are just dropping off your bags. Collect you green and white forms (plus spares ) and its sorted

We then went and had a nice dinner at Frankie and Bennys before walking back to the Hilton.

Thanks, we've never done either so its all new to us!!!
Kristie - i have given the bridle dress shop the new hand luggage measurements to box my dress, so i can take it on as hand luggage, but i will measure it to check, picking it up saturday, i have bought a hard case just incase they cant do it on the day!!!
If i have to put it in a case not sure if i would want to do twighlight check in, any thoughts on that????

Plans are just about complete - just a couple of last minute things to do when we're out there. How about you?

I hope your dress box works out, that sounds like the best way of doing it. I just don't think my dress will squash that small, the skirt is pretty big....I might have a go though.

I don't know if twilight check-in makes any difference - touch wood and fingers crossed etc, I haven't had a problem using either way. I just feel I want to get to get down in the luggage hold before we take off, so I can see it's there! Let me know how you get on with the dress box.
