I wonder about this. I doubt you could get into the Poly Tower lot since there is no guard shack there. With the current construction happening at the main Poly lot I don't know if there is capacity for extra vehicles.
I'm also excited about this if it means we can now park at the Poly, though the walk from the TTC isn't awful at all. We have AP though which allows us to park at TTC

Lots of people seem really happy about being able to park at the Poly. I think offering this as an ADR is a bad idea. It’s hard enough to find a spot to park at The Poly when you stay there.

I recall some fairly recent posts stating they were told to park at the TTC when they had an ADR at Poly. With the current construction and reconfiguration of the Poly entrance, parking is even tighter than before.
It’s actually a complimentary offering and it’s only “prioritized” for people staying at “their” (really Disneys) resort, it’s nothing the guests are “entitled” too. Far from it.

Surely those staying at the resort should have priority over those there only to eat, right? So someone with an ADR should be considerate and move their car when they’ve finished eating, not leave it there all day, right?

To answer your questions, idk, the guest could have had too much to drink at the bar and grill and moving their car would be dangerous, so in that case it is very considerate for them to not drive drunk but to wait to sober up.
