Online piano lessons

So my husband just brought me out our keyboard that I just had to have years ago so I could learn to play.

I really would like to learn so I think it's time. I'd like to learn via online, at least to start. I saw all kinds of sites but I don't know what's what and which ones are safe.

Has anyone done this? Can you recommend some sights?

There are all kinds of tutorials.

Just do a search and you'll find tons of piano tutorials. I remember one in particular with a guy who would not just teach you to play a song, but as he said, he'd teach you how to really play the piano, IOW, he gave true piano lessons. He seemed quite good, though I can't vouch for him because I don't have a piano.

When you are feeling adventurous--Reputable music stores sell wonderful lesson books designed for the adult beginner. I find them very good when I have the time to actually use them.

I may take a look at those links though. I am mostly self taught--but missing some theory and some real life someone showing me how to do it stuff that would actually make learning easier.

ETA: Viewing the first video and disappointed with the extremely low volume. at least the piano is loud. I just can't hear him.

Yeah, it wasn't like that when I saw it long ago. He says that the problem is fixed on the rest of the videos.
