Online Onboard Gift Ordering is Live

It's about dang time!!!!

I just went online to see what is available for our upcoming Alaska cruise and there are definitely more choices!

@TestingH2O no, come to think of it I did NOT see the 1 day rainforest pass :scratchin

There are more beer / wine options but less of everything else and no rainforest 1 day pass. I hope it is just because they haven't loaded everything in yet and not because they have scaled back. I checked both our Alaska and Caribbean cruises.

Just went and looked for our Sept. TA cruise, there are a few different cake options now, not just the MickeyHead cake.
The have a single cupcake choice too.
A lot of wine and beer options. Saw my Moet options, will be ordering a Rose and Imperial Ice.
They give you an option of which day you want it delivered to your room or a dining room (excluding Palo & Remy).

I don't see the Star Wars room decorations. I wonder if they have discontinued them. I would love a Marvel one for our next cruise.

Finally!

Does anyone know how reliable they are? My only experience with ordering gifts for a cruise was for a friend who took my daughter on a Royal Caribbean. It was my friends 40th birthday so I sent her two special things, sent her parents a sweet treat, and sent my daughter and her friend something to their state room (3 separate cabins). Only the parents, who I didn’t even know, received the correct item at the appropriate time. My daughter and her friend got the wrong item 3 days late and, when I called, they literally called the ship and brought them the correct one at 11 PM even though I begged RCCL not to because right then they were babysitting three small children who were sleeping. My friend, who paid for the cruise and who’s birthday it was, got nothing. Not one of the two things that I ordered her. I’m hoping that Disney does a better job. Yes?

It's too early for them to be listed. They'll be offered when it gets closer to the cruises starting, I would think somewhere around Aug-Oct they will have them on the site.

Maybe it's ship dependent? Our June Fantasy cruise has the Star Wars stateroom experience, and also the Glow in the Dark Star Wars stateroom experience.

I’m sure they will be added later. Closer to the date. We’re going during Christmas and I know they usually have holiday things available for those cruises.

I just looked at the site and they do have Star Wars and Marvel. Look under the theme tab and it shows them, there's 2 gifts for SW and 4 Marvel items.

I think they are different depending on the ship / port you are leaving from since now you have to enter a reservation number and last name?

There is not much choice for non- beverage gifts

Agreed. I think Disney is really missing out on a lot of money here. Which is kind of ironic and hilarious for them. They never do that! Beach toy buckets, stuffed Mickey’s, twirly light sticks like at the parks, Macarons, all kinds of edibles… Their offerings are pretty meager.

Maybe it depends upon which ship and which port you're cruising from? I checked for our Dream August 2020 cruise and there are Star Wars, Marvel, and Avengers decorations. If you're just scrolling through the list, it's near the bottom, after all the food and beverages.

Maybe they are steering away from some items that would not be easy to recycle if left onboard or might cause more damage to ocean life if accidentally lost overboard?

Plus, storage onboard is much more limited.
