online ckin at BCV

I can do online checking starting today for our stay at BCV. In all my stays I never did online cuz i was always wanted to get the best room i could so I would go to the desk. Well this year I'm thinking maybe I should try it cuz of these reasons:
-We are staying in a 2bdroom with 2Q in the studio. There aren't many of those so what I was assigned most likely will be just what is available that day (checking in on a sat).

-I need to head over to the Dolphin to pick up a rental and get over to Target to get some stuff. Side note: anyone know what the address is the Target nearest to AKL? I think there is a Publix there too incase I can't get everything at Target.

-I only put in one room request and that was for high floor, though I think if were were quiet pool side I wouldn't mind anything from 3rd on up.

any reason i shouldn't try online checkin?

The first time I ever tried online check in was at BCV and I have to say I won't do it there again.

It's worked fine at SSR and AKV but at BCV...... I was assigned room X. Room X was not ready when I got there, nor was it ready at 5 PM that day. I finally found a manager and said "I thought you did first come first serve" He says "yes" So I say "so since 11 AM today NOT one studio has been issued to ANYONE else" He does not respond. Basic response was "once we assign you to room X here we won't move you unless you pitch a fit" The best part! The guests who had been in room X had extended thier stay and were NOT going to leave that day, but getting a HUMAN to look at my reservation and realize they had screwed me up was next to impossible. All the front desk would do was go "room is not yet ready"

So I won't try it again there! If I had not had on line I think they would have done what they normally do, just look to see what was open.
