Online Check-in?

We're staying at CSR in Sept. and I do have a Package, I was wondering if I do online check-in do I have to go to the front desk?
or will they send me a text message with room # information?

It's your typical WDW consistancy, yes you may get a text and yes you may have to go to the front desk

Thanks, Yeah, after I asked the question, I went and did my online check in and it said you may get a text if room is ready.
If you need to pick up your vacation package you may want to go to the resort desk, but I thought all the details about your package is on your "My Disney Experience" and your Magic Bands are tied to these.
I won't need a map of the Resort, we've stayed there before and I don't need to know resort event schedule.
So I'll see what happens.

I know this may sound silly, but, I have to go to the resort desk, as I like the welcome home experience
even if I already did online check in....It's just something I like to do...

We did online check-in in January and opted to receive the text and bypass the front desk. However, we never received at text (our room was ready) and we were directed to the regular check-in desk (not online check-in desk) at CSR so you just never know.

The mydisneyexperience website won't let me change my preferences. I'm staying at POP and I selected the 60s building and a "higher floor." I'd like to change the "higher floor" to "4th floor." None of the buttons work. I've tried every browser under the sun except Opera.
Any help appreciated.

I think once you make your choices they are locked from being changed online. You will have to call and ask them to change them for you.

Did the online check in for POP give you choices of floors?
when I checked in online to CSR it was very few choices and didn't include floor choice, just "top floor" or "ground floor".

Wow, that's a lot of specific choices!!
I can't imagine the ones assigning room can easily meet that detailed of a request?
