Online Check-in question

I have posted the below to the transportation board but am posting here with a specific DVC question about online check-in. If I check-in online then do I need to be there as the member to get the keys or can anyone in the group do so? This will be our first time home to BLT. By the way, I have Mapquested the driections from the ballpark to the hotel and it is about half an hour. So I figure if the game is over by 4 then I am there at 4:30. See below to shed more light and if you want to comment on the transportation issue it is welcomed! Thanks.

I am probably just crazy and won't be able to make this work but I really want to. Hopefully DIS can set me straight. My flight arrives in Orlando at 11:22am on March 8. There is a baseball game in Kissimmee that has a 1:05 start. I don't care if I am a little late for the start of the game, but if I am going to miss half the game then no point in doing the following.

There are 6 of us going: DW, DM-I-L, DS, DS, DD and me. I would like to take the boys in a car rental from MCO straight to the game and have my wife, M-I-L and daughter take DME to the resort. The only thing is that all the reservations are in my name. I suspect she won't be able to check into the room unless I am there. Thoughts? Do you need more info? Am I nuts?

Any adult that is listed on the reservation can get the room keys.

And the checking in person has to pay for the DDP if you are using it.

Now I need to figure out (or see if DW will allow me to do) is if I can make it for a 1:05 start 30 mins from MCO if I arrive at 11:22am. Keep in mind I need to get half the group to the DME, pick up the rental, load two kids into it and get to the ballpark!
