Online check-in, PAT, and other Med cruise questions

One of my friends is surprising my daughter by joining us on Greek Isles cruise and will be staying in our cabin. I have no clue if one of us does online check in for all 3 of us or if her and I check in separately. Last DCL cruise was 2019, but I don’t recall even getting a boarding group in Barcelona. We got KTTW and walked on the ship. I’m guessing the European cruises will have PAT and boarding groups?

Usually you check in for everyone in your cabin/stateroom. When my M-I-L sailed in one of our cabins a few months back, we had to do her online check in with ours. That meant we had to have her picture and a copy of her govt id ready to load when it was time to do the online checkin. I assume the process hasn't changed in the past few months.
