I am getting my docs ready for online check in. For the passport, do I just take a photo of the main passport page at the bottom or do I need the page above that has the signature line included in my photo? Thanks for advising!

Either way. We did check in for our cruise next week earlier this month. MIL and FIL have the signature pages/picture pages and me/DH/DS just have the picture pages. They were all accepted.

Not sure if the signature page is required, but I included it when I did online check in for our cruise last year.

Don't think it matters, but it takes exactly the same amount of time and effort to take and upload a picture of the full page or the bottom half. So just do the full page!

OP here. I had both versions ready to go. I opted to try just the bottom portion first and it took perfectly and even auto input all the information into the fields. Easy breezy!

Hello! Does the check-in process have a place to "scan" the passport photo? Or do I need to take a photo of the photo?

Thank you!

As mentioned above, it auto fills all the passport info as soon as the photo uploads (instantly). It’s the string of info at the bottom that you don’t want to cut off.

You can take a photo while you are doing check-in - but not a “scan” option, per se. If you have a scanner and no camera, just scan and send to your computer.

This process is very friendly to Apple product users.

Does it accept photos in the Apple .heic format? Or do I need to format in .jpg etc.?
I believe the instructions state .jpeg; however, some Apple users have reported they were able to do it with .heic. I can't comment on that specifically and YMMV.
