Online check in for DVC point rental

This is my first post, so I hope that this is an appropriate place for this thread. I am just a few days away from check in. I have rented DVC points for a stay at Kidani. I was able to do the online check in on the disneyworld.com website, however it would not let me add anything to the "room request" section. I would really like to request a room that is close to the lobby. Any ideas?

The room request option does not work for online check in at DVC resorts. Requests should be made at the time the reservation is booked by the member you rented from.

It doesn't work for non-DVC resorts, either.

OP, you have a couple of options. You can ask the member you rented from to contact Member Services and add the request to your reservation.

Or, if you don't like your room location when you check-in, you can ask the CM if they can find you a room that's close to the lobby. If the resort's not crazy busy, they're often able to work with you and modify your room assignment.
