Online check in - any DVC members check in yet?

OK, according to the Disney Files I should be able to check in 10 days in advance starting in December thru dvcmember.com.

I see no link anywhere. Anyone know???

Post on the DVC boards yesterday said a phone call to DVC indicated "postponed" Disney's IT shop strikes again!


Personally I am NOT risking it. Based on the level of incompetence with that shop I figure it's an easy screw up to go from "on line check in" to "opps we cancelled your reservation" Let others be Disney's "test"

The DVC web site says "beginning in January", so I am ASSUMING that tomorrow we will be able to.

I'm gonna' be brave & give it a try. Screen Capture every step of the way & not throw away anything.

Carol, hopefully you will not be able to say "See! I TOLD you so!"

I will probably follow it up (if it works) with a call to member services Just To Make Sure.

This was posted on the DVC Operations Board yesterday

"I called today and asked about online check-in and was told it will not start as planned and that it is on hold indefinitely and no information as to why was available."

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

The website still shows January start, but that could be due to a slow webmaster also. I'll keep looking, but it's no big deal either way. I'll just go by the hotel 1st, then to the expo.

Or maybe vice versa. I am SO confused!!!!
