1 year old probably won't be able to swim. Only potty trained children are allowed in the pools.

Which boat are you on? That really changes what the little ones are able to do.

The one thing I can think every cruise does is Diaper Dashes in the atrium.

There is a splash zone for tots on the Dream class and the Magic for 1 year olds. They also have toddler times for activities for the under 3 crowd to include wake up with Disney junior, and if you have sea days the nursery will have an open house (take advantage of that). We sailed with a 14 month old for 7 days and managed enough and so will you, have a wonderful time.

There is a splash zone for them to have water time. Just be aware that bigger kids can come and be rough in those areas so while it may be cute to let your little one toddle along the finding nemo friends it is always best to be with in arms reach as the bigger kids can get out of hand and CMs don't intervene unless someone gets hurt.
