wow i can't it's been a year i still remember when there no tomorrowland

Yeah, three months was SO long ago!
But I remember Beta, when nobody thought to buy green flips, they were considered ugly. I think they still kinda are considered that, but people just want to look as much like staff as possible! Thanks for a good year of arguing, inpatience... Er, the good things, my bad! Fun, friends, finding the DIS (yay DIS members!!), and all that other stuff.

i do! nobody even wants space suits anymore! i remember when they were the rarest costume ever! there was a lot less dc'ing though, but the lines to a host game was still high, but nobody knew when they would pop up! when there was no HOST_ or QA_, just VMK_. there was a lot less ppl playing too.

EDIT ADD: and teleport WAS very rare and hard to get. now, it is very easy, and ppl don't really care about. i, myself have 4 teleport magics. ppl wouldn't even look at offers bc it was so hard to get! do you remember teh sorcerer hats? everybody called it blue ears, but we can't do that anymore bc of testers(i think that is where they got the idea ) . they were so rare ppl traded all they owned for it! ever since they re-released it at halloween, ppl don't even know it exists! back then you actually knew what rare was, and you probably never even got it, and that was what the fun was!

I remember last year, I was on another fansite for VMK (not anymore, and never will again, lol), and there was a poll for the most wanted pin, and majority of the people said teleportation magic, and then inferno, fireworks, and invisibility.

Sorry Luke, but what Brain is saying DID occur a year ago.

How do I know? Because this time a year ago, I was out the door at
6:15am to stand in line for Disneyland to open for its 50th birthday.

Back then, I didn't know I should not only go to VMK Central to look for
new items to buy, but to create a character there to get the black ears.

When I got home from my wonderful trip, I noticed that I missed out on
the space suit, sorcerer ears, submarine pin and the Tomorrowland 8/9
pin.

Me too - except it was my annual trip to WDW. (They were celebrating the 50th birthday of Disneyland there as well, but I'm sure on a less grand scale). I did the quests and created my character for the ears, but I didn't think to actually play when I was there and I missed out on all the good stuff too!
