We used to live in a suburb of Portland, OR but moved 3 years ago to VA. My husband is in Portland right now for work. I asked him to pick up some of these breakfast cookies that I can only find in stores there. So he's going from Fred Meyer to Fred Meyer cleaning them out of the double chocolate chunk cookies. So far he has 25 of them to bring back home and is planning on stopping at more stores today. I can order these from their web site http://www.bbcookies.com/shop/product.php?productid=6&cat=1&page=1 but they are 20 cents more per cookie that way plus shipping so we're saving money. His employer is paying for the trip and Oregon is sales tax free so he's totally going budget on this one and making me a happy camper :cool1::cool1: Now I just wish he'd get home so I could enjoy them. I eat one on my way to swim team each morning as an energy cookie.

I'm guessing his employer is going to cover the extra luggage fees, too? :)

Does sound like you've got a good husband there :)

What a nice husband you have.

I grew up in WA state and live in Utah so I feel your pain. I miss the northwest so much!
Enjoy your breakfast cookies.

Too funny - my DH is in NJ right now on business and just picked up four jars of my favorite mustard that we can't get in CO!

Check Amazon, they have them a little cheaper than the website directly. I've never tried them, but they do look good. Might have to order some. I'm always looking for a quick breakfast to grab on the way to work.

Yes, the employer will pick up the extra luggage costs. :) Luckily he packs light so he has extra weight for the trip home. I love how we send our husbands on errands while they are on business trips. I asked him if he would go shopping at the Nike employee store but he didn't want to do that one. Darn! It would have been hard for him to buy for me there and then he would have had to mail back everything. Last time I went there I had to send back a $17 box via Fed Ex. I think I spent close to $300 there! It's such a budget saver though. Everything is 50% of more off retail. I can take care of most of my family's Christmas and birthday presents there. If you ever get a change to shop at the employee store in Beaverton, OR do it. It's so awesome!

I did just find the Baker's cookies on Amazon. I'm super excited that I can get them shipped free. I'm going to order them after these run out. I also found out my sister met Erin at her last Ironman. I'm jealous.
