One Way Cheaper than RT, HELP....buy tickets by the end of today

Goodness! This is getting insane. LOL

I just priced out rt between ind and mco for nov 22 - 25 & 26. On the 26th, I'm finding that it is cheaper to fly one way to mco and then fly one way to ind. (with expedia and travelocity) I called expedia and asked them if I would be doing anything illegal or immoral by purchasing the one way tickets as apposed to buy the rt airfare. They said there is no problem. (I probably blew it by calling and they are probably changing their prices as I type this. )

Do I go for it?

Is there a down side to doing this that I don't know about?

I bought one-way tickets on US Air this past March. I flew from New York to Orlando, and then from West Palm Beach back to New York. I am also doing the same thing this November on JetBlue. There is nothing illegal about this, and in fact, many airlines sell one-way tickets.

on what carriers? if its cheaper then go and buy it. whats the problem? I don't see any...the only time it would be "illegal" is when you buy back to back tkts and it doesn't seem to me that you are doing that by buying 2 one ways.............you follow me? I say go for it!

This is getting harder and harder. (getting the family to decide whether or not they can go) I hit a brick wall with them about if they can go or not, so atleast that is one major hurdle I can put behind me. LOL

Going to buy the tickets. (I'm only 2 days late compared to when I wanted to buy them. )

Oops....we're either flying Delta or ATA. Or maybe both. I'm now checking the price difference between their sites and expedia and travelocity. Shoot, I might just split that up, too.
