We use to think that Disneyworld was the end all be all to vacations. We went for several times in a row. We would hit closer spots like Chicago, St Louis, and others for a weekend here and there but then we found....
CALIFORNIA! Disneyland, San Diego, Pacific Ocean, Monterey, San Francisco and my favorite place of all time...Yosemite National Park.
We are huge disney people as well. You should visit Walt's original and best park and couple it with a visit to San Diego to get started. It's amazing.
