I have been on a business trip to CA and planned to spend one full day in the parks. We went in at 9 and left around 11 - limping out because we were tired! I guess we aren't kids any more!

We didn't plan anything specific, just a trip by ourselves hanging out so we basically just hung out all day collecting our fast passes and going from ride to ride and pretty much did everything we wanted to all in one day.

He wanted to go to Tom Sawyer's Island or whatever it's called now and I can't ever remember going there in my life. Even though I grew up nearby and went frequently as a kid and adult I never spent time there because it didn't have any rides and I wasn't interested. So, I went and it was OK. He wanted to go on the canoes but I wasn't going that far! Later he vetoed Star Tours so we were even.

There was no Fantasmic and fireworks were cancelled so we just moved from ride to ride and had a great day. We kept water and snacks in our locker and rode a few favorite rides twice but I'm not sure if we would have fit in everything if we had taken time to watch any shows or fireworks. We had a fun experience on Space Mountain where they didn't stop our car in time so they let us all ride twice in a row which was fun.

Nemo - not that great.

Screamin' - completely awesome.

We took some good photos and enjoyed the day together but next time I'm breaking it up into a couple of days. We were so sore the next day that we should have done two half-days instead.

I forgot my LG mickey head in my room. I'm had those things for a year and never used them yet. All afternoon and evening we were on rides with girls who seem to yell and shriek a lot but there was a cheerleader convention going on so the park was over-populated with girls. They really do scream quite a bit - at everything.

We didn't get dreamed and didn't see any member of a dream team but still had a great time. It would have been nice to have been asked to stay in the Dream Suite though... :rolleyes1

Sounds like a great time ~ I'm looking forward to our trip at the end of April ~ we'll get there as a big cheer convention is ending (I hope) I'm hoping they all hurry home for school and don't stay.
