One quess what I bought today .... A crock pot!

After all these threads about crock pots I just had to get one. Target had a nice Rival 4 qt oval crock pot on sale for $15. How could I resist.

Now I'll have homecooked meals waiting for me after work.

I hope you love yours as much as I love mine! I don't know how I'd live without it!

I just did something Friday I'd never done before. I had company coming during the day & wasn't sure I'd remember to start dinner in time as we were doing crafts. I tossed 2 jars of sauce & about 15 frozen meatballs from Costco in it on low around 10am. I figured we'd have leftovers on Saturday.

Usually I just nuke the meatballs, heat the sauce, cook the pasta & serve for a quick meal. This was was sooooo much better! I've been doing sweet Italian sausage this way for quite some time - I just never thought about it for meatballs.

You will love your crockpot!

defrost boneless chicken breasts, half a jar of salsa, a little water Cook on low all day. Serve with noodles.

A yummy dinner waiting for you.

I made my first meal on Monday while I was home and could watch. It was so weird to me since I couldn't open the pot and stir or season. The beginning stages look odd too but I couldn't help but peak.



The lamb stew came out really good. The meat was tender and falling off the bone. Also, I was surprized that the potatoes were perfect and not mushy.

My crockpot has now been named "my personal Chef".

We love our crock pot....here is our favorite recipe:

Put in Crock Pot in the morning

3 or 4 chicken breasts
1 stick of butter
1 envelope of dry Good Season Italian Dressing mix

After 4 hours on High or 6 hours on Low

add:

1 block of Cream Cheese
1 can of Cream of chicken soup

Serve over Noodles or Rice....Yummy, Yummy!!

Whenever we have someone from church that had a baby or sick, I send this to them....it's becoming famous - people asking for it!!

We call it Cream Cheese chicken!!

I'm glad you liked it!! We always fix it when we are camping....it's very easy to put it all together and by the end of the day you have an awesome meal!!
