My name is Theresa and I am a full-fledged Disney addict. I love planning and taking trips to the Disney parks and can frequently be found listening to Disney music from the parks and films. When I'm driving, I don't just wear sunglasses to reduce the glare of the sun, it's also so the other drivers can't see me weeping profusely as I listen to the soundtrack for the Remember...Dreams Come True fireworks at Disneyland. It happens.

A lot of people know me as "that girl who is obsessed with Gertie the Dinosaur." I can't lie, that's probably the most accurate statement ever written about me. I adore Gertie. I even had a friend crochet a miniature Gertie for me that I took around during my last trip to Walt Disney World in May. I'm currently working on a Photobook about her adventures!

But enough about the most amazing dinosaur ever to grace Echo Lake! I've got three vacations coming up in 2015 - a solo(ish) trip in January, a multi-generational family trip in August, and an adults-only trip with one of my best friends in October. I've never planned this many trips at one time so close together, so I'm excited to have an outlet like this to bring these plans together! Coming up soon - a little more information about each trip, and what I'm most looking forward to!

Brief Summary of Trip Plans
I will go into more detail on each trip as my planning intensifies, but I figure some of you reading probably want to get a better idea of what you're getting into before you click that Subscribe button. It's okay, I respect your desire not to over-commit yourself to following trip reports. You do you!

So, here's what we're looking at:

January 2015 - The Solo(ish) Trip

I say solo-ish, because although I will be traveling to Florida and spending a fair amount of time on my own, I will be sharing a room with one of my best friends!

Krissy and I actually met on the DisBoards about 3 years ago, and spent the majority of that time keeping each other sane by talking on gchat while stuck at work. We used to live relatively close to each other until last year, when she moved back to Florida with her husband. We now look for any opportunity to see each other, and Krissy graciously invited me to crash in her room while she is at WDW for Marathon weekend. I'm not going to turn down that offer!! I can't wait to see my best friend, and put some plans in motion for my next trip, which is...

August 2015 - First family trip to WDW since 1990(!!!)

(bonus points to anyone who can identify which restaurant this picture was taken in)

I am bouncing off the walls with excitement in anticipation of this trip. Growing up, my parents only took my sister and I to WDW once; most of our family vacations were to the Outer Banks with my extended family. I actually didn't make my second trip to WDW until 2008, and have been hooked ever since. This trip is going to include myself and my husband, my parents, who have been to WDW twice (1990 and 2007), my sister, who has only been once (1990) and my nephews who will be making their FIRST TRIP EVER! I am excited for pretty much every element of this trip, from watching my nephews (and for the most part, my sister) experience Disney for the first time, and essentially acting as their tour guide. After this trip, it won't be too long before I'll be making my final trip of the year...

October/November 2015 - Best Friends Trip! Halloween/Food & Wine/????????

My best friend from high school has been planning her return trip to WDW for the past year. She hasn't been since high school, and her boyfriend has never been to any of the Disney parks. As with my two other best friends, she lives out of state, so when discussions came up about visiting Disney together I jumped at the opportunity! It was a no-brainer to go in the fall, since she LOVES Halloween and works for a wine distributor. And remember how I said in the first post that this PTR would be full of surprises? Well, you'll just have to wait a bit to find out what the ???????? stands for ;)

As you can see, there is a lot to look forward to - and a lot to plan!! I will let you determine what I post next - Would you prefer to see:

- A more in depth look at each trip, including more details about the participants, resorts, and other basic planning details or
- Start focusing on my plans for my first trip in January?
