I'm not going to get into the whole symantics of what happened and how it happened...and I do agree with Lori that some of the responses here could have been said in a much more tactful way.
But I did want to respond to this...
Well yes and no. First of all, how your type or say things is dependent on where you're typing/saying it. Some sites don't allow "internet speak", for example. But that's an entirely different issue, so I'm just going to speak on the here and now. You are absolutely right that in most cases when online, you can type and speak in the manner that suits you best. However, in the case of complaints or trying to get issues resolved, part of helping your situation is to type in a clear and concise manner. It gets your point across in a much more dignified manner and people are more likely to give it more consideration because of the time you took to make it grammatically correct, correctly spelled, polite and courteous. While obviously it's ok to describe your emotions in the letter, the letter should not be emotionally charged. When you're on here, or even playing in the game, have fun with your internet speak. But in situations like this, it's best to make sure that your letter is properly written. I hope that helps.
