So here is my complaint....
1) most of you know how bad we got messed up with the last house we tried to buy well the final total that we were out of pocket for a house we didnt buy was about $500. not such a huge figure but when you consider we have absolutely NOTHING to show for it it doesnt thrill me! ( for those that dont knwo it was a HUD house and they delayed the signing thus voiding the contract and us being out the money)
2) same situation ( HUD house I know I knwo I should have learned my lesson) different house this time we have our bases covered, new loan guy learned from our mistakes etc etc etc... we were supposed to close by Tuesday all was going well until THEY LOSE OUR FILE Is it in California, Is it in Washington? Oh wait it could be in IDAHO ( HELOOOO???) so as of Tuesady everyday we DONT close on the house will cost and extra $20 a Day in fees.
Last but not least
3) today we get a letter form the INS ( DH is Canadian and has lived here for 7 years now legally of course) we paid all the money for his permanent green card 5 years ago on time, went through all the hoops to get the perm card it never arrived. Supposedly they sent it out 12-28 98 well we never got it!!
We have done inquiry after inquiry to find it, have submitted all the reams of paperwork to get a new one. NOW they are telling us we have to pay for the card $200+ AGAIN because it was lost in the mail!
PLAESE tell me how this is my fault?????
they send these REGULAR MAIL not even a delivery confirmation and in an envelope that says INS Immigration department.
HELLO???? Can we just stamp STEAL ME on the envelope and be done with it???!!!!
Ok so these are my vents about our government today thank you for listening Im begining to agree with my friend who said our government should have 2 jobs Blowing things up and killing people.
