One of my pictures won second place!! UPDATE 7/26 - I won PEOPLE'S CHOICE, too!!!

I am so excited. I entered two pictures in a local fair. One picture didn't win anything (which I expected). The other picture brought second place (and a small monetary prize)!!! I walked into the photography building and wasn't expecting the pictures to have been judged yet. But, there it was - a big burgandy ribbon next to MY picture!! Here is the picture that won - and a picture of it with the ribbon :

Thank you very much!! It feels great! I even stopped some random stranger as he was walking by and said, "That's MY picture!!" He acted excited for me. I think he was happier to get away from the crazy lady!!

Update 7/26 -

I called today to make arrangements to pick up my pictures. They were supposed to be picked up late tomorrow afternoon, but I will be about 2 1/2 hours from home helping my sister move. I called the coordinator to see if I could pick them up tonight (which I could and did). At that point, she told me my picture had won People's Choice!!! I think my jaw hit the floor! I am sooooo excited!!!
