One night??

We are staying at AKL with family for Memorial Day. I am expecting everyone will be leaving on Sunday except for us. We are staying til Monday afternoon. I was thinking about going to another resort for that last night, just to check it out. Maybe Poly or one of the Boardwalk area resorts. We would have all our stuff packed and would not have to completely unpack (maybe keep our toiletries and change of clothes in a backpack)

Have you done this? O.k. or too much of a pain?

I've done it. On our last trip we changed from AKL to BWV to Swan and back to AKL. Mind you , never for a one night stay though.

It wasn't planned that way originally, but our flight dates got changed after rooms were pretty booked up. So we had to take what we could get.

Your stuff is moved for you, so all you have to do is call bell services and be on your way. You do lose time checking into the second hotel. Guess it depends on how much park time you want on that last day.

I should also add that while I did not mind all the moving around, my husband hated it.

My BIL and SIL will actually be there with their car so they can be our transport. Check in time does not bother me too much. I think we will do this just for the heck of it.

We do it for a one night stay. It gives us the opportunity to check out a future resort to stay at. This year we are starting our vacation at USO, at the Portofino Bay for one night befor moving onto the BCV. I still have not made a decision on where to stay for our last night in Orlando. I have narrow it down to either WL, AKL, the Dolphin or Cypress Pointe Grand Villas. So, as you can see we do not have a problem moving from one resort to another..... even if it's for only one night.
