Sometime, but not always.

Certain times of the year, yes. The best thing you can do is keep checking the website as things change quickly.

When I signed up in April for the GOTG DVC preview in May, nothing was available for that one night.

I logged on and kept refreshing for 30 minutes straight and something popped up!

So, keep trying!!

If you are looking for only studios, you may be out of luck.

I tried every resort and every type of accommodations from studio to 3 bedroom. Just seems weird. I was wandering if they have taken some rooms and moved them to cash ?

Within 60 days, we agree to allow rooms to go to cash for breakage, So it’s possible some did.

But I had to move my daughters Sept trip to Columbus Day weekend end of July and even then October was pretty booked up.

She started with a different resort for each of her 5 nights. It took me over two weeks of constant checking to get it down to 2 nights in a 1 bedroom at SSR and 3 nights in PV studio at RIV.

Since then, I have tried to get her a studio for those 1 bedroom nights and no luck.

All you can do is waitlist and stalk. October is a really busy DVC time.

October is the busiest month of the year.
Every week has multiple events at Disney PLUS sea world, universal.
GREAT weather, finally weather in the 80's

30 day-ish mark is special for DVC, because you have to drop your reservations at >30 days or your points go into holding. A ton of stuff pops up at 30-ish days. But it's fast and you have to be watching.
