My husband and i are going on a disney cruise and decided to throw in an extra few days to go to WDW....we only have one night at Epcot and would like to try out a new place. We wanted La Cellier-but they are all booked! We made a ressie at San Angel inn but it gets mixed reviews....

Anyone have any opinions for one the best place in world showcase for dinner? (We are americans who live in London so we don't want rose and crown and we have been to germany before....)

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!!!

:goodvibes

Would you consider coral reef? We love it there. We also love the Italian restaraunt, newly opened it's now called Tuttio Italia,my vote would be for that if LeCellier is booked, I wouldn't do San Angels.

If you like Sushi- i would suggest giving tokyo dining a chance, otherwise I might try and get upstairs in France

Beirgarten or the new restaurant in Italy

Le Cellier or Coral Reef

Both are great restaurants with exceptional food!

first choice would be LeCeliier ( of course), but if unavailable......I would agree with OP and try for Bistro de Paris (sp?)(Upstairs in France).

I'd try Teppen Edo in the Japan pavillion. It was great last year and we are dining there again in December.

Good luck and have a great trip.

Even if Le Cellier was empty I would go to Marakesh as first choice and Nine Dragons as a second choice.

Bistro de Paris was a fantastic experience of a meal for us, I'd go there if I only had one night.

(and LeCellier was booked up, of course).

We've also had great meals at Marrakech, San Angel Inn, and Nine Dragons.

Bistro de Paris is by far my favorite Epcot restaurant, even over the popular Le Cellier.

If you were looking for steak, did you try the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club? It's about a 10 minute walk outside of the World Showcase exit.

it's so hard to choose!!
Tepan Edo sounds like a great choice-anyone been to the new italian restaurant?

We live in Europe and miss american food sometimes which is why i went with san angel inn (after le cellier was booked of course!) because you can't get good mexican food in england...but i have heard mixed reviews on this place. ...so now i am doubting my choice.
You have all given great advice...now i have to buckle down and make a decision-which i am very bad at!! :confused3

Last trip was in March and we met friends and had dinner at Bistro de Paris, it was lovely, food was very good and service was excellent. I definitely would recommend this restaurant and I do love the ambiance....so French, for us that is..

I have not done LeCellier for a while as I do not like all the noise and how crowded it is.. I do think that the food is good, not great, and I prefer for a good steak to go to Shula's in the Dolphin Resort....JMO

To the previous poster, I think that the restaurant in Mexico is not great....service is not good either....I hope that you have a good experience there, we did not and will not go back. We have given them two tries and both times, they were not good.
