One Night Hotel Only

Hi all,

We're next due to go to DLP (possibly for the last time for a few years - sob!!! ) in October. We've booked 4 nights, Monday to Friday, at the Santa Fe. We all have Dream annual passes, and we've just started considering booking an additional night, on the Sunday, to enable us to have a more leisurely drive down, a decent meal, and an early night for DD (only 4) before the fun starts on Monday (when my parents will also be joining us for the week, and having our package tickets).

DH suggested an extra night at the Santa Fe. Saves us moving! Where would be the best place to look for the best deal for the Santa Fe? Obviously we only need room only, but I know how DLP works with the deals sometimes being cheaper! lol

When we went back in December, and because of the annual passes, we booked our 5 nights in the Cheyenne via ebookers, and it was really good value (room only). Am I right in thinking that you CAN'T find room only options for any of the Disney hotels via online hotel websites for October? Is it only November to March inclusive? Looking at a mock booking for early June (as I know these sites only have Disney hotels around 3 months in advance) they include park tickets automatically.....and therefore they are quite expensive.

If I'm right with the above, then one of the 4 partner hotels will probably be better value (and they have nice breakfasts! Well, I enjoyed the Dream castle breakfast!) - Kyriad being the obvious as the cheapest, but happy to keep an eye on offers that might pop up for Dream Castle, Explorers or Magic Circus. The Kyriad is currently popping up at £60 for that night, with the other 3 at £100 or higher. Is that a good price?

Sorry, it's a bit of a ramble, and quite a few questions there, but any thoughts would be appreciated.

you're right, you won't get an onsite hotel room, room only, for one night in October, without paying a stupidly expensive DLP price for it.

You could try phoning DLP and asking them how much the room only would be with your Dream AP discount.

If its a lot more than the Kyriad price of £60 (which I think is an okay price for one night at that time of year) then I'd go to the Kyriad - and remember cashback sites when you're looking at the prices .

Just browsing Travel Republic (as one of many) and it says Room only for Kyriad at £60....... where all the others say bed and breakfast for their prices........

Maybe I should check other sites.....
