One night for a 2 bedroom waitlist chance during marathon weekend (are my odds really bad?)

Good morning all!

I know it's really hard to know for sure but I am hoping someone has experienced good luck with a waitlist during marathon weekend (January) and can share their experience. DH and I are running the half marathon and have a studio booked at the GF (Friday-Monday). I am hoping to move us to a 2 bedroom so my sister can come along with her family (who are currently in their own studio). I just need one night to open up (versus the entire stay). Are my odds of a two bedroom in a lake view room opening up for one night pretty decent? With the 7 month window coming up for non-GF owners, might I see some movement in the availability?

Appreciate any insight from those who have had any experience in moving reservations around during this time period. Thank you SO much!!

If you're open to ANY 2br, you should be okay if just GF not much hope.
