One more time...on-site car rental--do they pick you up at the resort?

I'm trying to see if we could manage with a car rental for just 1-2 days in the middle of the trip instead of renting one for the whole week. If we rent from National at the Car Care Center (or whatever it's called!), do they have a shuttle that would pick us up at a WDW resort and bring us to the rental place and then bring us back to the resort after returning the car?

Yes they do. It is a shared National/Alamo shuttle.

We've never used the shuttle or the location at the Car Care Center, but the Alamo location at the Dolphin is VERY convenient since the Disney buses go there.

You return the car to the valets at the Dolphin and then just either walk or boat to Epcot or MGM from there.

We've rented a car from Alamo at the airport and dropped it off mid-trip at the Dolphin while we were staying at the Beach Club. It was very quick, we drove up, they took the keys from us and we took off for the boat to Epcot.

Can you just walk to pick up your car at the airport for Alamo (like you can with Budget), or do you have to take a shuttle to some offsite location to get a car from them?

We are DVC members and own at Beach Club, so having the drop off at the Dolphin sounds like it would work well for us.
