My adult son is attending a wedding the day before our cruise, and won't be flying in until the morning of our cruise. The rest of us want to get on the ship asap.
Can he board the ship later in the day? What will he need to do this?

What ever Official ID that he would need if he boards with you ....

Actually, YOU might need his passport / birth certificate. Others will know better.

He WILL need his DL to get into the Port Area.

He will have to check in to get his KTTW card and get his security picture taken before boarding.

I think that when we did this in the past, DW had my Passport and checked in while I had my DL to return to the port area.

Yes, he can check in/board later than you, as long as it's before the All Aboard time.

He'll need his ID to enter the port area/terminal. A driver's license or passport will do. To check in he'll need his citizenship ID, either birth certificate plus government-issued photo ID OR a passport.
