We are headed to the beach next week. Since we will only be a few hours from Disney, I have convinced my Mom to go over for the day. We are headed to Magic Kingdom. I am sure my questions have been answered, but honestly I don't have the time or energy (teacher trying to teach in class and virtual students at the same time...) to read through 170 something pages and my searches are not finding what I want.

What is the best way to get to MK?
I know you can park at a resort if you have a ADR, but is there a limit to the time you can leave your car?
Would you be able to park there and eat QS?
How long after park close does transportation run back to parking lot or hotel? We have an ADR at LTT for 5:55.

Thanks in advance for the help!

1. You will park in the MK lot, walk to the ticket and transportation center and either take the monorail or the ferry to MK.
2. Parking at resorts is for eating and visiting the resort, not for theme park parking.
3. You can park at a resort if you want to visit and eat there. It will be up to the guard if they let you. The closer a resort is to a theme park, the less likely.
4. It's a couple hours or more after park closing. You won't be trapped at MK after eating.

What is the best way to get to MK? -Depending on which beach you are coming from will determine which way is best to come..

I know you can park at a resort if you have a ADR, but is there a limit to the time you can leave your car? Yes normally you can park at the resorts for an ADR... and its suppose to be only for the time you are in the restaurant... for me I would not want to take a chance and come back and find my car has been towed... If you are thinking about going to Disney Springs afterwards, you could park there, and use the buses to get around.. I would check on the time that the buses start running to Disney Springs.. then you might have to go to a resort first, then catch a bus to the parks, and at the end of the day do the reverse, or get uber back to Disney Springs, or just bite the bullet and pay for parking at MK, less worry.

Would you be able to park there and eat QS? I don't think that without a ADR to a TS restaurant that they will allow you when you come through security gates just for a QS meal. Especially with them trying to limit guest movements between the parks and hotels.

How long after park close does transportation run back to parking lot or hotel? We have an ADR at LTT for 5:55. - As you have a ADR, at MK -I think that in the parks in normally runs around 1 to 2 hours, but with reduced people in the parks, it is not going to take as long for the parks to empty out. So I would most definitely park at MK...

Thanks everyone! I had read somewhere that you could park at resorts. Glad I came here and asked the experts!
