DH and I will be traveling to Orlando in November - just the 2 of us - Hurrah!! and I while we will be staying at Disneyworld we would like to spend a day at Universal. If we mapped out what we wanted to see ahead of time does anyone think we can do both Universal and IOA on the same day?

Possibly, if you hit only the rides and shows that are the most important to you. I would say you had a better chance if you were staying onsite at Universal for a night which would give you FOTL privileges. Either way, it would have to be commado style touring.:hyper:

We can usually do both parks in 1 day, but we have been before, so we just see what we really want to. You might try buying the express pass for one of the parks (costs $15-$25, depending on when you go), and you get to the front of the line one time for each ride in that park. It may help with lines. When we go during slower times, we find we don't have to wait long for anything, especially at US.

I hope you have a great time!

Simple answer is no u will see some of both parks but i would be suprised if u enjoyed it imagine doing MK & AK IN 1 day u might be better doing 1 park and enjoying it to its full:jester:
