My husband and I are staying onsite but probably will only go into the parks one day to see all of the HP things. I know I need a one day two-park ticket. If we decide we might want to go back a second day, can we upgrade to a two day ticket while we are still in the park? Does Universal have any sort of reduced rate if you enter the park late in the day? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can upgrade to a two-day ticket, as long as you do so before you exit the park.

I am not aware of any deals for late-in-the-day entry.

Does anyone know how much it is to add an extra day to a ticket? I have some very old 1 day 2 park tickets that I am finally going to use. I know I will have to exchange it upon arrival for a current style ticket (These are ticketmaster tickets!).... but trying to decide if it's a better deal to use both of the single day tickets with one person and then buy a second 2 day/2 park ticket for the extra adult in our party... or if I should upgrade both of these single day tickets before leaving the park, into 2 day passes.

THANKS in advance!

The general rule of thumb is to upgrade tickets inside the park after they've been used. The upgrade price should then be the difference between the current gate price of a 1 day ticket and a the current gate price of a 2 day ticket ($20 more than online price). Looking at Universal's website, it should be about $68 + tax each to upgrade the tickets.

This is a great help. The Ticketmaster tickets I have are valued at $69.22 per day written on the ticket, but if I exchange them upon arrival for the new style tickets that wont be shown... and then go through turnstile... and before leaving the park that night, both adults will go and add a day onto these tickets. This will save us well over $100 vs. buying a second 2day/2park ticket!!!!

THANK YOU!!!
