Hello,
We are disembarking from DCL early am but don't have flights until 7pm. We were hoping to hit a few rides at HS but mom will need an ecv. We obviously won't be there at RD so my concern is that theyll be sold out . Is there a way to get a scooter from an outside vendor to a park or resort? Like maybe have it dropped off at pop? We could take the dcl bus back so wouldn't need to park a car, and they WILL let you book a transfer to a resort without a reservation number... or is there some other way I'm not considering?

Well that's another question. If we take the dcl bus without a res can we store bags?

Rent a suv at the Port. Pick up ECV..Gold and Buena Vista have places where you can pick up and drop off. Keep luggage in car. You might need a full size SUV to fit luggage and scooter

Sounds like a hassle for.a few hours of park time. You'll have to leave DHS by 3. Drive to scooter company then to airport

Yeah that makes the park day not make sense, so was trying to figure our something more efficient. Maybe it's just not meant to be

Probably, the best way is to do a park scooter and hopefully you can get one. If you can't get a park scooter then rent a wheelchair instead and push.

The biggest problem without a car is what are you going to do with your bags? Especially for Skyliner resorts (or monorail resorts) they are much more strict on any cars - even taxis/rideshares/car services - entering without a resort reservation or an ADR. So I would not count on that to be able to store your bags at a resort.

Can you check your luggage remotely at the port? Guest paid Service?

Some days scooters are sold out prior to park opening, resort guests have early entry.

Either rent off site or plan on renting a wheelchair

While it sounds simple in theory, this plan requires several different planning options.

1. transport from PC to WDW
Debarkation may begin at 7:30, but unless you really rush off and have private transportation waiting, I would not expect to be at a WDW resort until 9:00-9:30ish at the earliest. It depends how quickly those DCL buses fill for each resort and how many stops they make before yours. Check luggage and pick-up ECV, probably not on a bus to the park until 10-10:30 at the earliest. If you arrive by other transportation, there will need to be time planned to get to the car rental, ECV rental and/or luggage storage.

2. storage of luggage
If you arrive by DCL Transfers, you should be able to store your luggage with Bell Services. If you travel by any other means, you'll need to decide what to do with luggage. To my knowledge, the service that could take your bags from Port Canaveral to MCO has not resume, unless there is a private service available -- which will take a little extra time.
3. pick-up/return of scooter
Whether it's at a resort or directly at the vendor (warehouse, storefront, etc.), this will take a little time on both ends of the transaction. Probably plan at least an extra half-hour (15 minutes each end).

4. transport from WDW to MCO
How will you then get to MCO in the afternoon? If you take DCL Transfers to WDW, you'll still need transportation to MCO. If doing a shared shuttle, they'll likely want you ready for pick-up by 4pm. And plan a little earlier to retrieve bags and return the scooter. A rental car in the parking lot will give you a little extra time, especially if you park at the park instead of a resort.

Honestly, I think you'd only get a few hours in at a park. Probably more like 10:30-2:30. It's not the 7:30am to 7:00pm chunk of time that it initially sounds like. And then consider if a few hours worth the cost of a one-day ticket (~$150).

Would a visit to Disney Springs work any better? You'd need a rental car. Not sure if mom can do Disney Springs without an ECV.

How about a day-room at the MCO Hyatt? A room to relax, watch tv, use of the pool, early dinner before flight. That honestly sounds like the best option to me.

I have no idea if DCL offers this guest paid service
I'm not sure if Onboard Airline Check-in has resume with DCL; but I believe it required a DCL Transfer to MCO, not the resort - and it was only available for certain participating airlines. I don't know of any other (private) service that would be onsite at the DCL port terminal.
