One day off for code

I received an email from Disney offering 20% off, but it starts on 10/19 and our reservation starts 10/18. I called and the CM said I would have to change the reservation to begin on the 19th. We can't do that, so I let it go....now I am reading that I may be able to do a split reservation? Can anyone advise me on how to do this? Thanks!

Yesterday we received an email for the AP special rates. The last date was Sept 27. I made a reservation - just one - for Sept 26 and 27 at the AP rate and the remaining days at the rack rate for now. I received an email confirm showing the differnet rates. Call and talk to someone else. I have heard that many have had to make split reservations with 2 rates, I didn't just yesterday.

the night of the 18 would be rack rate on one reservation, the pin code would start on the 19th on another reservation. Call back and talk to someone else, people do this all the time
