One day in the parks, WWYD?

I am sailing to PCN from NYC on a Royal Caribbean ship and will be there Monday the 27th of April. I have never been to the Animal Kingdom or done the World Showcase. My plan is to get a car from PCN at 7:30 and do the safari at AK and ride Expedition Everest. Then take a cab to the Beach Club resort and enter Epcot at the World Showcase at 11. I will drink around the world until the car picks me up at 6 to be sure to get back onboard by 8:30 before the ship sails away.

I will be back on property in September with my family.

What are your thoughts?

It sounds like a delightful and achievable plan. Flower & Garden Festival will be going on. Agree that you should go easy on the ETOH lest you have trouble getting back to the car to the ship given that you will be alone.

Personally I would not do it. One reason is a 1 day hopper is something like $170 and if you leave at 6:00pm you won't even use a full day.
You lose time traveling from Animal Kingdom to Epcot. A one day non hopper ticket would be less expensive and give you more park time. Also, just me, I would obsess the whole time worrying if I would make it back to the ship on time.

I am not worried about the cost of it. The fastest way I have found is the taxi from AK to the Beach Club.

If cost isn't an issue, I'd say you have a great plan. If I had one day in the parks without kids, I'd be in Epcot.

I just want to experience AK for the safari and expedition everest. So Safari first and then EE. Taxi to BC and the the worldshowcase.

We left the ship last Monday at 7:30 right on the dot. We made it to the TTC in 50 minutes. From there he dropped those headed to MK. Me and to others headed to AK. We went to AK and rode the Safari and Everest and caught a small bus going to Beach Club. From there we took a boat to Epcot and drank around the world clockwise. We tried to get on to Soarin' as we only had FP for AK. We then rode Test Track twice...and continued to drink around the world. We then headed to the monorail to MK and rode Pirates, Haunted Mansion. If Thunder Mountain hadn't been closed, we would have got through Splash MOuntain faster. We did look at the line for Seven Dwarves, but decided 75 minutes was not worth it. Had our wait not been too long, we would have headed to HS to ride Rock and Roller, but we walked over to the Contemporary after avoiding the hoard of cheerleaders in the park. We were picked up at 6 and made it to PCN at 7pm. We paused to pose for an after photo and ended up watching the Falcon Rocket Launch!
