One Day In Orlando

Hi There-

My family (me, DH and DD6) are cruising on the Disney Dream on February 19. We're arriving on February 17 and staying at the airport Hyatt. (We're arriving 2 days early because we are from the midwest and the winters are -- shall we say -- unpredictable.)

We'll have one full day on Orlando and we're trying to decide what to do. Any suggestions?

We're doing the same thing the first week of February! We're coming in on Feb 2nd and cruising on the 4th. We decided to stay at Port Orleans French Quarter even though we won't be going to any of the parks. It's so fun to catch a boat from POFQ to Downtown Disney, so that's what we plan on doing with our free day. It will be the first time that I've been to Orlando without setting foot in a park, but I think it'll work out fine. Like you, I don't dare fly in on the day of the cruise, since who knows what could happen to our flight between Alaska and Florida!
