My parents & I are going down to FL for spring training, and I always try to get to Disney for a day during our trip. First year it was Epcot, second year it was MGM. This year, I really want to make it to Magic Kingdom. I haven't been there since I was 5 (I'm 27.) What would you suggest are things I MUST do/see while I'm there? I'd be going probably either Feb 27 or March 1. I'm also hoping to make it back to WDW on March 3 for ESPN the Weekend, but I know that's at MGM Studios.

Thanks!

Have you been to the MK before? If so, I would pick your 2-3 favorite things and do them first. Then take your time going on whatever else you can.

If you haven't been there before, then my list would be: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder, Pirates of the Carribean, and Mickey's Philharmagic.

I second Donald is #1's choices, but would also add the Haunted Mansion - a true Disney classic!! Also if you have time, take the steam train around MK - tell Donna (PandyPaws) and Jim I said Hi!!

Enjoy!!! :upsidedow

On my MK solo day in April Im planning on:
Peter Pan & Tom Sawyer (which DS wont do in Aug),
Haunted, PhilHarmagic, mountains

first of all the 1-day at WDW is expensive - if you can afford it and you know you will be back - go with an mutiply day tickets with no expiry.

my choices

Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Haunted Mansion
Peter Pan (okay maybe this one first - it gets a longer line)
Pirates of the Carribean
Mickey's Philharmagic
Bluzz lightsaber's Space Ranger

and my all time favorite - although very slow and to some people boring so only do this if everyother has lines around the corner - guaranteed this won't
Tomorrowland Transit Authority (TTA)

here the website from the dis explaining the MK - you might find something you love that we didn't mention
