We are staying at CBR and I would like to rent a car for just one day. Is that possible? How much would it be? Does anyone come to the resort early in the morning to pick you up?

You can rent a Car through National or Alamo at the Disney Car Care Center. You call them about 30 minutes to an hour before you want to picked up. they can come anywhere on disney property to get you (Yes, even at the parks or the TTC). After you drop off the car, they can return you your resort. I'm renting from the CCC this time as it is WAY cheaper than the Airport.

You can also rent from a few of the DTD Hotels. Buena Vista Palace, the Dolphin have rental counters.

We get a car for 1 day to go to Wal-Mart and the outlet mall. We used to pick up the car at the Dolphin but now use the Disney CCC because they pick you up and when returning the car they will take you directly to where you want to go. :)

You just go to the National or Alamo site (I've found that National is the lesser expensive one).

I am renting a car for two days while down there at the end of the month. I just booked online - Picking up Sunday June 28th at 3pm returning Tuesday June 30th at 3pm (so it's a two day rental but for timing we have it on 3 days) - for $81 including all taxes and fees - and it's a mid size car.

There are some great codes and coupons at mousesavers for rental cars. I used the one where you pay with a Visa card and get a discount and a free upgrade.

If you get a car from Disney CCC can I return it to the airport?
Is there a website for DCCC?
Yes, you can return it to the airport. You can also rent at the airport and return at the Car Care Center.

I don't know of any website for the DCCC. You need to check the individual car rental sites - Alamo or National. In addition, most of the other major rental agencies have an office somewhere on Hotel Blvd.
