One day at Disneyland

I'm going on a school trip to Anaheim this summer, but as with all school trips it's not all just fun and games. We are only going to Disneyland for 1 day. I was just wondering what the best approach would be to get the most accomplished and seen. I want to be able to enjoy myself, but also do a lot.
