'A Room of One's Own', Virginia Woolf, English novelist (1882-1941).

Were back! I will update this index as I go through the reviews

Crystal Palace
Yak and Yeti
Snacks - Frozen Lemonade MK, goodies in the Writers Stop HS

 hi I love reading everyone's dining reviews and the food porn so for our first DDP trip I thought we would give it a go!

Were in the World for 14 nights from Sept 30 staying at Coronado Springs for 13 nights and one night at Wilderness Lodge to celebrate our 5 year anniversary

I have been to WDW 4 times now and my DF Henry has been 3 times, we first went together last Jan but didnt go with the dining plan. We have also been to Disneyland Paris twice together :goodvibes

I must confess that most of our ADRS are booked because we like the theming of the restaurant  this is also a slightly different dining review as we are planning on getting married in Disney World next December :bride: so need to find somewhere to eat! Were trying to not spend too much money on food as were going to book a private dessert party for our family to watch Illuminations around world showcase, plus with the disney wedding packages you get a massive wedding cake!:thumbsup2

I will be using a :hyper: scoring system because thats how I feel right now! (Did I tell you its only two days until we go? :hyper: )

We have ADRS at the following:
Crystal Palace Breakfast
Yak and Yeti
The Wave
Grand Floridian Cafe
Sci Fi Diner
Sanaa
Akershus Princess Breakfast
California Grill
Ohana
Artist Point
T Rex Cafe (will be paying OOP for this one)
Coral Reef
Kona Cafe

Were also aiming to have counter service at: Earl of Sandwich, Wolfgang Pucks Express, Columbia Harbour House, Pepper Market and anything else that looks tasty!

I will update this on our return but thought I would start the reviews because I am excited (and to make me remember to take photos on holiday)

to get your in the mood and to prepare yourself for my poor phootgraphy skills I will leave with some food porn photos from our last Disneyland Paris trip in December 2008:

As promised some Disneyland Paris food pics to get you in the mood :goodvibes

No - but we did go to Inventions which is a character buffet - it was fab we had a castle view table and Tigger tried to steal my bag..then when he got caught he tried to chuck himself out of the window :lmao:

I really want to try Cafe Mickeys - will have to nag DF to go back!:rotfl:

Lol the characters in DLP are really funny and so interactive with not just the kids, but the adults too.

You must go Cafe Mickeys, is it so much fun, every hour the characters all dance to music and when we went we caught Mickey and Minnie dancing with each other and Minnie did a running jump and Mickey caught her, was awesome!

Captain Hook was not into DF at the time, he kept picking on him (in a funny way) kept poking him in the shoulder. Pluto tried to eat my head and Baloo tried to run off with our dinner. Was so much fun :)

I'm back! Flew back to the U.K today - I'm going to get started with the reviews, and will give you my overall thoughts at the end :goodvibes

1 October Crystal Palace Buffet Breakfast
This was our first meal in the world (late arrival from the U.K the night before) so we thought we would get into the meal with a character meal!

No buffet pics I'm afraid, we did get some pixie dust as were celebrating our anniversary during our trip with some heart shaped confetti on the table and and signed certificate from all the characters :goodvibes

We met Pooh, Tigger, Eyeore and Piglet and they were all great the food was your standard buffet breakfast, lots of choice we really enjoyed the breakfast pizza (even though it was on the kids buffet table :rolleyes1) and they had a great fruit selection, which was a great as I'm not a big breakfast eater.

Strangely the restaurant wasnt full even though I had found it nearly impossible to get a reservation, and like nearly all our ADRS we were shown to table pretty much straight away.

Our server was really friendly, I think she thought I was really young because she she seemed shocked that we were engaged - I pointed out I am in fact 26 .

To sum up I would give this :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: the food was fine but nothing special and the restaurant was very loud compared to Akershus. I don't think we would go back but mostly because there are so many other places we want to try and were not big buffet fans.

Great start! My daughter's name is Gemma, and it's my most favorite name in the world! Looking forward to your other reviews.

Wow I didnt know Gemma was used in America! I think the originally comes from the Italy, I'm not a big fan - there are too many "Gemma's" from 1980's in the UK!
