The II exchange certificate states that 4 people can use the unit. The exchange certificate also states that the unit has a king sized bed in the bedroom, and a queen sized bed in the living room. We are wondering about bringing 2 adults, and 3 kids (2 aged 11 yrs of age, and a third one aged 6 years of age).

Stated occupancy is four adults. They will allow an additional child under the age of three who sleeps in the provided pack-n-play crib.

DVC has allowed 5 in the 1BR villas, but no additional beds or linens will be provided. The queen sized accommodation in the living room is a sleep sofa and is not a real bed.

Since this is an exchange, you should check with MS (the number is on your confirmation letter) for clarification before making any assumptions about what is allowed. As an exchanger, you may find different allowances from owners at the resort. Two Bedroom villas will accommodate 8 guests.

There is also a lengthy discussion about occupancy here on the DIS.

... Again, since this is an exchange, you should check with the contact information for verification about the allowed occupancy for the unit you have reserved.
