One Bedroom--AKL Kidani Savanna View or BLT?

Just got pricing for our February 2020 trip and the price for one bedrooms at AKL Kidani Savanna View and Bay Lake Tower Standard View are $200 apart.

We LOVE AKL and have stayed before although never at Kidani, just Jambo. I was all set to book it but BLT being only $200 more for the week got me thinking. The theming of Contemporary has never thrilled me but I have a 2 year old and a 9 year old and being able to walk to Magic Kingdom and take the monorail to Epcot....

I'm torn!

I've never stayed at BLT (on the Contemporary). I *love* it. I think you might enjoy the proximity of that resort area versus AK. And I'm all for trying out new resorts. At a $200 difference, I'd give it a shot. I haven't looked, but are there any differences in the accommodations? One significantly better than the other?
