Thank you all so much for the kind words. He was moved from ICU to a regular floor late yesterday, and is doing much better. He will be in the hospital through the weekend at least. I'm off to the hospital as soon as my daughter gets on the school bus. His team mates have been great, and of course Ian can't wait to get back in his uniform-but he knows that he'll be cheering his team from the bench for the rest of the season. I think the hardest part will be curtailing his physical activity until he heals. This is a kis who would play baseball all day if he could, and when he's not playing baseball he's playing Ultimate Frisbee, basketball, riding his bike, hiking with his Boy scout troop, well, you get the picture. I'll let everyone know how he's doing-thanks everyone!
